Temporarily out of commission...

My computer imploded this weekend and I am blogging from my iPhone. I hope to have a working computer by the coming weekend, sorry about the inconvenience and I look forward to returning to my normal schedule of posting.

No new Bountiful Observations painting will be debuted this week.

Have a wonderful holiday today and keep cool and enjoy the day,

Liz

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

What are you up to this weekend?

I am hopeful that ours will be filled with a bit of gardening and a bit outdoor grilling.  I still have to convert one of my flower beds to summer flowers, my pansies have just been too georgous to pull out!  However this weekend we are going to have a few days of really hot weather, so what better time than to convert the beds to summer flowers.  Which flowers do you like most in your garden?

And I am looking forward to chilling with a cold, eating some grilled veggies and maybe a hamburger.

Hope you have a great one!
Liz

Two Petunias

{7" x 5" (17.8 x 12.7 cm) – oil on linen panel}
Unframed painting: $100.00 starting bid + S&H

Last month one of my birthday gifts from S. was the removal of a dying juniper that took up almost half of the flower bed that boarders our driveway. Now that it is gone I have been able to fill in the space with a lilac bush and other annuals, including the petunias in this painting.

Framed painting: $400.00 + S&H

Amazingly we have had a cool spring, so my pansies are still going strong in the garden. My friend Jane told me that when you plant pansies in the fall that they will come back stronger and more beautiful than before in the spring, and boy was she right! The pansies have been blooming like crazy since late February...

Hello,

After a few weeks of being pulled in different directions, I was able to paint a daily painting, which really means these little paintings are really *almost* daily paintings :)

Last week I was working on a larger 20 x 16 inch painting and it is almost done, so soon I will be able to photograph it and share it with you.

Thanks for reading,

Liz
