Two Bell Peppers

Two Bell Peppers – 6" x 6" Oil on Canvas Panel SOLD

I have been meaning to paint some bell peppers for awhile. I just always ended up cooking with them before I got around to painting them…

This was a fun painting, I like how the palette of this painting is essentially made up of oranges and greens. Not quite a complementary palette, but close as green is right next to blue on the color wheel.

Interesting, what? It's fabulous. I love your textures. (I've been lurking around for a while, see.) If you like Camille Przewodek, you'll love Ken Auster. Your work often reminds me of his, something about the blue, blue shadows and apparently casual highlights. I'm enjoying your blog very much.

Thanks for letting me know about Ken Auster. I have never seen his work. It is beautiful, I love his paint handling, there is so much energy in his paintings.

Also, thank you for the kind words. I have really been enjoying this "blogging" experience :)
