“There are moments in our lives, there are moments in a day, when we seem to see beyond the usual – become clairvoyant. We reach then into reality. Such are the moments of our greatest happiness. Such are the moments of our greatest wisdom.”
“If you want to know how to do a thing you must first have a complete desire to that thing. Then go to kindred spirits – others who have wanted to do that thing – and study their ways and means, learn from their successes and failures and add your quota.”
“You as students [of art] should devote yourselves to the power of simple expressions, to do all that can be done and learn how much can be said with the simpler and more fundamental terms."

Thank you for the wonderful links- great post!
At this moment, YOU are inspiring me! I used to paint full time, and found it lonely and a little worrying (as far as income stream), so I took a full time job. Now I long to go back to painting full time! Good for you for doing it, I'm hot on your heels. I'd like to stay in touch, and maybe form a group of artist bloggers to support each other on the trickier days. Sound good to you? (We're classmates, by the way) ~Lisa
Sara, I am glad you like the links and it is fun sharing.
THANK YOU Lisa, you made my afternoon :)
Good luck with going back to painting full time and I like your idea about a forming an artist bloggers group. These are tricky days and the more support the better.
I'm not sure if I mentioned it previously, but I was taken by your watercolours on March 14 - reminiscent of Georgia O'Keeffe's earlier works in their simplicity, subject matter and colour. Love how they're matted, too. Really, really beautiful.
Veronica, thank you for sharing I really appreciate it. :)
Yay for your daily paintings!
