Bananas

Bananas – 6" x 8" Oil on Canvas Panel SOLD

I really like the brightness of this painting. It is pretty simple in composition, just the bananas on a bright background. I feel it is a cheerful painting not asking to be more that.

Thanks Mary! I really like this little painting also, especially the bright colors, they make me happy when I look at them :)

You certainly know how to do yellow and blue extremely well...and I really, really like the diptychs.

Thanks Veronica, I love bright colors and am always trying to find ways to bring them together and to harmonize them at the same time. As my goal is never to make the colors too bold :)

The diptychs have been a fun little adventure, I may consider completing some more in the near future...

Thanks Theresa, these were my first attempt at painting them. I love the unusual geometric shape of them and how that affects the shadow shapes.
