After working on the Kitchen Series, painting draped cloth is a pleasure. This painting started out as one with half a loaf of homemade bread, and then as I was wrapping up the bread part I realized it just was too drab and brown, so I switched out an orange. I like to have something bright as the focus of a painting.

Thank you so much Liz, for stopping by and taking the time to leave me such a thoughtful and comforting note. I truly appreciate it.
I'm also DELIGHTED to see your work, how it has evolved since you went full time as a painter. WOW! Congratulations, I loved your work before, I love it even more now. Hugs to you, Theresa.
Theresa, thank you SO much for dropping by and saying hello. I always like hearing from you.
Also thank you for the kind words about my work and how it is evolving. Getting to work at it full time has been such a gift. Hugs to you and warm wishes during this time, Liz
Hi, Liz! I just found your work from Tracey's site. What beautiful paintings! I decamped the corporate world to paint also. Your work is lovely. I also like the photo of Slim out for his r&r in the sun! Best to you. Liz
