First day back in the studio...

Hello Friends,

S. took this photo this afternoon when he got home from work. Today was the first day actually picking up my paint brushes and testing out the new studio space. The cart under the window with the folded up blanket is where Slim spent most of the afternoon napping, I love it when she keeps me company :)

I was working on a favorite subject, a pomagranate.

See you soon, Liz

Happy New Year, Liz! You look so happy in your new space, away from jackhammers and pounding. Wishing you and S the best and Slim, too.
Your work is beautiful and you have a particular expertise with the figure.

Hi Mary! I am happy in the new space, and yes it is quite and peaceful! No more jackhammers and construction workers standing outside my window talking on their cell phones! I love the quite!

Happy New Year! Liz

Lucky you with your expansive studio! and a big window too! Are you standing on one of those new mats that helps your legs? Does it work? Keep painting.

Thanks Elizabeth and Marian.

I got the mat from Uline, it is for people who stand at the checkouts all day. It does work some.
