Pansies {a new small painting}

Pansies

Pansies

{6" x 5" (15.2 x 12.7 cm) – oil on linen panel}
Unframed painting: $100.00 + S&H

Hello,

Do you have issues with deer helping themselves to your garden? Well, up until now we never had issues with them. Twice this fall I have purchased several flats of pansies with the intention of planting them and painting them. Unfortunately a young buck has moved into my neighborhood and has actually been helping himself to the buffet I call my garden.

These two flowers were all I could find when I went out to get some flowers to paint.

I love this painting, its so beutiful. I love it's perspective, and how you just painted it from just your backyard. For now one you are my favorite artist! :D

Hi Liz
I have been reading you’re past post since your journey began and really have enjoyed it. I really liked the exercises in the art museum and the painting of the flowers. Boy what a project to start out with.
Love Slim I also have a bunch of cats that were strays that hubby and I have adopted or they adopted us.
Little Naomi is a doll.
And this past summer the deer have invaded our yard and all my plants have served as their buffet even the water bowl for my cats would be dry every morning. My hydrangeas, hibiscus, hosta and even my lilies and tomatoes.
I hope this year that they find enough food on their own.

Hi Eugenia :) Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with me. I can feel your pain about the deer, I guess we can only hope they decide to forage somewhere else than in our gardens...

See you around, Liz
