Tied Up Radishes

A Bunch of Radishes – 6" x 8" Oil on Canvas Panel SOLD

After having fun with the square composition, I decided to try my hand with a rectangular one. These radishes were interesting because their shapes differed so much. In this bunch there were egg-like shapes to odd oblong ones with bulbous ends.

This piece reminds me of pulling radishes out of the garden as a child.

I like your food paintings. Do you cook as well?

Thanks, I have never pulled radishes from a garden, when I was a kid I did pull carrots out of the garden. And yes, I love to cook, I especially love winter stews, soups, and ragouts...
